We understand that if the faith is to be passed on to our children, it will happen in the home. All of our education ministries exist to support the important work of faith development that takes place in the family. We also understand that not all families are alike and not all children learn in the same way. To that end, we attempt to make our education ministries responsive to the needs of each child.
We host Wednesday evening Confirmation classes for 7th , 8th and 9th graders. Those confirmation years consist of one-on-one and group
mentoring, regular worship attendance, an independent learning project and classroom work.
We have moved from looking at Confirmation
as a rite, to understanding that it is a lifelong learning process.
