Worship Changes
Beginning in January there will be a change in Immanuel's worship services. First and third Sundays of each mont will remain unchanged with an 8 .a.m.Traditional service and 10:30 a.m. Celebrations services. Holy Communion will continue to be celebrated at those services.
(*Note: on January 1 there will be only 1 service at 9 a.m.)
On second Sundays of each month both services will be Celebrations and on fourth Sundays both services will be Traditional.
This change is being made to give our music leaders one "free" Sunday a month. And it will give all of us an opportunity each month to experience the "other" worship service. LOGO
The Annual Meeting of Immanuel Lutheran Church takes place on Sunday, February 5, 2012. All confirmed, voting members of the congregation are encouraged to attend.

Thank you Sunday school teachers, students, and parents for your hard work and help with the Christmas program! Together with the retelling of the Christmas story and the music, it was a heartwarming and entertaining performance for all who attended!

After School Program
We are in need for more volunteers for our After School Program. If you can share an hour or two from 3:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. on Wednesdays, we would love to have you! Students and staff share two hours of snacks, games, Bible lessons, and crafts.

January Meetings and Notes
- 160 families were assisted through the Christmas Giving Program. Immanuel purchased over 70 gifts and delivered dozens of cookies to these families. Thank you all so much for your generous giving!
- Youth and Family Board meeting, Tuesday, January 3rd, at 6:30 p.m. in the youth center.
